National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is a service of NACURH, the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, Inc. Our chapter here at UNC Charlotte is designed to give local, regional, and national recognition to students making outstanding contributions to their residence halls. NACURH firmly believes in the value of student involvement in residence hall life through community service, social programs, and educational programs.
NRHH can help you further your commitment to service and recognition, two essential components of a thriving community.
Realizing the value of participation, students have contributed vast amounts of their personal time in an effort to make their own college experiences more meaningful to them. This effort not only benefits them but the entire residence hall system at their school as well.
There are people who work hard and all too often go unnoticed without even so much as a ”thank you.” NRHH exists to honor these students. Recognizing these student leaders is the fundamental purpose of our NRHH Chapter.
NRHH is the only nationwide organization that recognizes residence hall leaders. Membership in our chapter is limited to one percent of UNC Charlotte’s residence hall population, which allows us to have 61 NRHH members. As you can see, it is a very select group of leaders. Being selected into the membership is an honor in which one can take a tremendous amount of pride.
